In Treatment

Gabriel Byrne plays the leading role of a new American drama series of HBO an adaptation or rather a remake of an Israeli series BeTipul. His acting makes the character of Dr. Paul Weston authentic. The series is about a psychologist who is counselling with completely different individuals throughout a week. He sees four patients, on Friday he has to undergo the same treatment he usually gives others at the end of the first week.

His office is part of his house, still this closed space has a different atmosphere than other parts of the house. Most of the characters look at it as a shelter. The therapy, the speaking stresses this feeling. I am thrilled over the acting, this sort of chamber play is one of the most difficult thing to conceive as actor. The closeness limits the action, but what counts here is the chemistry. Whether the two or three characters work well together or not.

I am tired of writing this. Or even anything.
